No martial arts here, but he’s in the film nonetheless. The fans of martial arts films may notice Ron Smoorenburg in the film – as one of the zombie extras. Ian Ziering (who kills the undead with things like an electric sword and a motor boat engine!) looks extremely comfortable fighting off the undead – years of fighting all sorts of sharks have proven to be useful. Since this is “Fulci-themed”, I was expecting to see a zombie looking like Fulci himself, but no such luck. The film has quite some gory moments, and while the zombie make-up isn’t really that creative, the zombie kills are, which is always a plus.
